clean the factory primer off the outside where your going to spot weld and also dont forget and this is important to spray weld thru zinc primer between the old panel and new for anti corrosion reasons. Also when itcomes to spraying make sure you use a good quality etch primer before you surface prime the panel for the same reasons. Dont use sealer untill its primed and flatted. any more advise feel free to pm me, Been a sprayer/panel beater for 16 years

Mine was pretty bad but the sill was ok apart from a hole right at the end, which luckily the new quarter will be replacing

All the stressful stuff done, get it plugged on and more than happy yo help out dude, bugger shame that i couldnt get the quarter on in time. Will see what the crack is at work and see how low i can get that price down on painting the quarter for you. Was thinking about that and seeing as the frfont wing needs a small repair on might be worth while freshening up the full n/s with colour but thats down to you at the end of the day. Let me know if you need anymore help

just sits up against it, the filler neck then slips into metal lugs on the outer panel then you should have a black plastic cover with unleaded printed onto it for covering it up.

in regards to going for the full side, can cut a deal as wont be too much work as worse part is the rear quarter and i am sure i can release some extra paint out of work also thanks for putting that pic on showing my exposed crown . Dont stonechip untill its primed as primer is too heavy for stonechip to take, stonechip will only take colour and clearcoat

no dude once the quarter is on and the filler work complete, needs etch priming then high build over the filler and 2 coats over the rest of the quarter then requires flatting for paint then and only then do you put stonchip on the sill then its ready for paint
