I'm currently doing the same job as you on a fiesta Si. When I cut the rear quarter off I found the inner wheelarch had completely rotted away around the fuel filler neck.
I searched all the after market panel suppliers and couldn't find anyone who sold a wheelarch inner panel with the fuel filler aperture, all I could find was the inner wheelarch lip as per some of the links posted in this thread.
I ended up going to Ford and buying a complete wheelarch inner panel, wasn't the cheapest but saved me a load of hassle. Cost was Ł76 including VAT and part number is F1113068, they where showing 4 in stock when I ordered mine last month.

then mocked up and cut the rear quarter in at the cills/pillars
. if i can be bothered 2mo i will weld up around the filler neck with some sheet metal and poss attempt welding the rear quarter.

I thought you'd be up and working again pal by now. Must have been a bad break. Just to kick you when youre down, my fuel cell, swirl pot and quipped lines should be ready next week. All I need then is some bloody time off work to fit it all!
