im taking my time in this one, too much other things to do, if the other 2 cars were on the road then there be a lot more done by now.
bonnet found and collected, cheers gareth, also, new springs have turned up, just need to refit the front konis and car ready to roll
need to remove the cossie management from the other s2 i have and refit it into this one, and then i can start to build up the interior, engine componenets should be back form the shop in a few days
car now rolling, started to refit interior, rear cards, trims etc, windscreen in, just going to take to get under bonnet painted and get bonnet painted now then can re fit new loom, and fully build interior up
Good project u got on the go there. I so wish i had the underneath of mine done red before i put it all back together. Mine is 99.9% finished now but sometimes u then want to pull it all apart again don't ya lol as u feel u can do bits better or wish u had done bits better in the first place.
Just out of interest, what colour combo are u going for in the engine bay? My rocker cover is a textured paint off red colour, i have red samcos and then my inlet manifold and charge carrier are powdercoated chrome/silver but im now looking at the overall engine bay and thinking theres too many different shades of red so wondering whether to do just a silver rocker cover now and maybe black samcos. Im a nightmare.
when you aiming for completion cross? ive got about 40percent of the welding done on mine now so after next 2 weeks should be ready for paint then bolting all my new bits on our cars can be red brothers lol!
right ive no camera so pics are lack of, old phone so cant use that etc...
cossie loom fitted, been bit busy with saff recently so i hope to crack on over xmas tho, will update as i go, got engine etc, need cooler, turbo and clutch
right, progress has started, heres a few pics as it was 30 mins ago, hopefully get some work done in next few days up until back at work on the 4th january, friends rst just been written of so hoping to get it to mine to use as a haynes manaul lol, as its been ages since ive had an rst down to the shell like this
