i just been out garage i have a 2wd ford beam mount ,a 4x4 ford mount and solid beam mount
the 4x4 one and solid dont fit the spare bosses i have but the 2wd doz lol
i have a boss i can post down for you get the solid beam mount machined to fit
ps just ask ian nicely

lol, how much difference is there Andy, can't be any more than 1mm , if so Ian can i mount the mounts in a drill and spin it up and use fine file, gently and slowly to reduce the collar

Thats what we did, VERY gently rounded them down until they were a tight interference fit
Should have read this before i replied to the PM lol.

That's what the Focus Thrash was meant for, but even I couldn't make that one and the side was pretty let down with what did turn up and had problems unfortunately

yeah been cleaning the underneath of the car ready for underseal, going to use gravitex, recommended by Andy.
Gearbox and diff going for a steam clean on the weekend.

ok guys, got the solid beam mounts back from being lathed down a smidge and fitted one tonight, but they sit about 5mm proud of the body is this right or are they supposed to fit flush.
PS i will get the mount in the post Monday to you Andy

Fit flush mate, they should clip in slightly and then torque up.

Sorry mate couldnt tell ya , but if i was to take a guess , i wouldve said they needed to sit flush to the chassis rail in order to spread the load better ? i dunno??
