Default Can this conversion be done?

Hi all, 1st post on passionford and im hoping you can help me out!!

I currently have a 1990 XR4X4 and a 1994 granada scorpio auto with the 24v cosworth engine

My plans are to build a 24v BOB......MANUAL, REAR WHEEL DRIVE sierra using a MT75 gearbox

Everyone seems to run the BOA 24v engine when doing this conversion, I would like to run the BOB as it saves me sourcing another engine, ecu and loom

Will there be any major issues with using a BOB, like wiring or clearances.

ANY FEEDBACK WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED - Many Thanks
Greg

the wiring for the bob engine is difficult to modify to use with an manual gearbox.
most guys using the bob engine in sierra etc uses wiring from the boa engine.
A local sierra dude uses the bob engine with boa wiring in an xr4i and there's no problem with clearences.

you can do it. but with the loom from the bob its bloody complicated, the pats system can be bypassed but its a wanker to do. i wouldnt want to attempt it. boa is better, with vectra v6 injectors, and get rid of the viscous fan and put a couple of good electric fans in place. it will give you a slight power gain, only slightly though. but i prefer a electric fan than viscous. fab engines though, ive got 2 boa's around 195bhp standard.
