Couldn't sleep this morning, so went for a little drive on the way to work and took some piss poor phone pics. Snow coming a lot earlier this year, gonna be a heavy one this year... Forgot to take engine pics though
Oh, new boot and bonnet. Rest of bodywork to follow, just enjoying the sidewise action too much to care at the mo RWD deffo more fun than FWD, but FWD is more forgiving.
Diffy

Nah deffo not going the wide arch route. Think I'd rather keep it as the only one on the road that isn't an RS replica. Think its just a little more crazy that way But quite a few more updates to follow, just enjoying the build at the mo

Nice pics mate.I wouldnt bother with the arches either you will have more fun in the car as it is now.Just think of upsetting those evo and impreza drivers when you go flying past them cause they wont know whats under the bonnet.

Not as bad as you think TBH, took ages describing to Adrian Flux what it was and was expeciting them to say it was a kit car But its really good, same as a Focus RS more or less. But of course, a quote would be different for everyone As for any updates, had a little bump the other week, so sorting that out now. Nowt major thank god, so gives me a chance to sort more things that I wanted to do over winter

Sorry for the lack of updates, but because of the "little" bump (John ), its been in the garage for over a week. Both quarters have been repaired without issues, also welding a plate over the filler cap and smoothing it in as its not needed. Otherwise because of the small dents in certain areas or scratches, I've decided to fetch 2 new bumpers and un-fogged headlights and going for a full repaint, apart from the roof.
Underneath is pretty much mint as it is, bar an unpainted diff. The engine bay is pretty much all newly rebuilt and the interior just needs a good clean. So it'll be ready for the shows of 2010, first one being Central Day along with the unveiling of Johnyjn's 3dr
Keeping it as standard as possible, right down to the orange indicators and side reapeaters. Only thing giving it away will be the newly refurbed RL7's, oh and the noise

Yeah, you can't tell, but they have been refurbed, just covered in crap in the garage But the bump wasn't really that bad, very lucky I'd say. Just bent one wheel though, so had to remove the rear beam and have the solid mounts welded into the beam, powder coat etc. etc. on a gravel drive. Ouch!
@ Dingla
It just looks like the other side, no difference
