Default V8 saph project

bought this 2.0 pinto saph of ebay for 450 quid

in fairness it looked like a complete grandad mobile . but there is no rust , has been undersealed since new , got full service history , 2 owners from new and only done 62,000 miles ,

got it looking abit more tidy and done a few shows in it

but on the roads it was as usefull as a nuns tits tbh , the pinto had to go to make way for more power .

had a choice of engines

Yb cossie -everyone has one and there dam expensive,
v6 cossie - everyone has one and theres too many wires etc for my likeing,
rover v8 , had crossed my mind at first but i just dont think rover goes well with a ford ,

5.0 ford 302 v8 , BINGO!

first things first , get rid of the pinto and type 9 , slung it on ebay for £250 and immediatly a bloke bought it to drop in his anglia .

And this is how it is sitting at the moment

have orderd the 302 from real steels and am going to collect it on the 5th , in the mean time , need to source a T5 box , some decent suspension as mine is fooked ,

more to come when i get some time to work on it

well the pinto in this one really had no go , it was alright top end but get up and go was shite , but then it only had the crap carb etc.. was thinking of sticking a set of twin 40s on it , performance cam , exaust etc . but at the end of the day i would have spent more than 400 quid , and so far i have only shed out 200 quid for the v8 as the pinto paid for the rest ,

I'll be keeping an eye on this rather closely - Didn't realise the Ford V8 was so cheap neither

They vary a hell of a lot, I got one from a Thunderbird and it came with 150bhp
Best one is the H.O Mustang engine 225bhp to start with and came with forged pistons as stock, easy 500bhp with a turbo or two.

Hi guy
Will a 302 V8 from a late model Mustang fit a T5 from a 2WD sappire Cosworth ?
Or are there any mods involved like changing the bellhousing or making an adaptor plate ?
Thanks
