Seriously nice car Martin I respect you so much for having an accident like that and jumping straight back on the bandwagon and the car is awesome.
Range Rover towing it looks pretty cool too.

this may also sound like a silly question, after the arguments about using different body panels to the original - and you quite rightly, standing up and saying it's my car, i'll do whatever the hell i bloody want..
but why do so many people opt for that single, lower, rear spoiler? it lets the car down, purely on the basis, that imo, it looks like an after-thought, a bolt-on something you'd see on a halfrauds drive-thru.
why haven't you refitted the legendary two-tier spoiler that was so integral in the escossie's original image? is there a technical reason.. or are ford stupid on their pricing like usual?

Just a shame that despite it doing such a technically apt job, it looks rubbish - but then this is function over form (for the most part).
Am i going of piste suggesting a screen up front an a tiny camera mounted in the tailgate - they'd weigh virtually nothing and soon overcome the problem with relatively minimal cost. I know it's not quite rallye slag in nature, but this is a hybrid after all. surely worth considering.

Still think you should have kept it white!!!
I have my reasons why!!!
4 colour repaint because of you Martin!!!
Only joking!
Personally i'd go for the set up of the most areodynamic and most track friendly! eg: looking out the back window and how much is a wrc bumper cost to replace once you've been in the gravel trap a few times? (not that you go in them
)

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and i'm sure someone'll slate me for saying this but:
I like it as it is.
The car screams 'functionally fast' to me...
Look forward to hearing it upsetting things soon mate
