Martin,
In the pic below I presume the 2 bars are how you will mount your seat.
![](http://www.reyland.co.uk/Gallery/74.jpg)
My seat is mounted the same in my Sierra (was like that when I bought it) but i'm always worried that in a crash, especially side on, they would be one of the weakest areas. Basically I have visions of the seat becoming detached with me in it
Is this how the seats were mounted in your old car as they obviously stood up to a big crash? IF so it would put my mind to rest![Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Loving the project btw.

I think it looks cool!
And to be honest i've seen that many MK4 RST's with shonky wrc front bumpers I think that has put me off for life with the WRC effort on Ecos's
I'm not surprised that kit gives more drag as well, for a start it looks like it would shape wise and secondly a rally car aero kit is probably designed to give maximum down force possible from a body kit (within WRC rules)using air upto 120mph and so naturally would always produce more drag.
Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing the beast at the pod and track days this year

PassionFord Post Whore!!

im no aerodynamics expert but did aerospace engineering for 3 years so know a bit. basiclly, if it were an aerofoil, like a wing, the more lift/downforce it produces, the more drag, but seeing as its a bit fook off bumper sat infront of a car shaped like a brick, i doubt the rules apply quite so straight forward as that! ![Surprised](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/bigcry.gif)
by the way mart, can i put my name down for a passenger ride sometime when it goes out on track?!
very cheaky i know, but if you dont ask you dont get!

love the car as for the bumper im for wrc or standard despite aerodynamics and stuff if thats how you even spell it what i think people are forgetting they see it as it is cos its standing stilll but when it comes to track time all there going to see is its arse from a distance which to me is the important bit
