Just getti g a few bolts today so hopefully the engine will be in today

Getting my abs block bracket re done as its rusted

And also going to try cleaning up my front hubs today

 

finally got the engine and gearbox in the correct position and all mounted up today

Tomorow going to get the rad and intercooler painted and fans cleaned up and then hopefully fitted on wed.

not done many big things with the car lately.. just a few smaller things.

Still not got the hubs blasted

Got the header tank and powersteering tank in place and plumbed in..



also got my engine loom in- think it looks rather tidy.

should have the rear hubs off tomorrow so going to get them all blasted at the same time..

Should have th leads for the coil pack in tomorrow and fit all the breather sytsem up

My shipment has arrived, hoping to collect the parts this week and get the front suspension in asap..

Still got to change the rea diff and decide on what colour to paint my brakes- suggestions?

Well gota sort out all the interior wiring, abs loom, figure out where to mount coil pack and fuel pressure reg, brakes, suspension, interior, sunroof, front & rear bumpers still a while mate prob atleast a month.. trying to get it done asap before the weather gets crap down here wana use it

 

Is the new loom set up for coil pack? just when i see a blue dist cap there take it thats being done away with?

 

Yes Carlo got a coilpack and not sure where to mount it

Im on the lookout for a blanking plug instead of the dizzy cap as it looks abit daft just there

Hi Guys..

Lil update..

well im still awaiting my shipment to be released to me so i can get the majority of the car finished.. Was hoping to receive the parts on Friday but unfortunately they hadn't been cleared through customs yet.. so hopefully tomorrow brings some good news.

In the mean time me and my dad decided to get the hubs and TCS's done.. we got the hubs sand blasted last week and we wire brushed the Tca's this morning.



obviously my old man did all the prep and painting as im useless

and heres what the tca's look like now



The hubs im really impressed with.. I dont have a before picture but just picture some cacky hubs and youl get the idea

i think they look spot on..

Now heres a couple pics of it all mounted up in the car-









Next on the agenda was to paint the rear calipers.. so again my dad wire brushed them up and masked of all the pipes etc







now these have been painted but dont have a finished picture yet as they were drying when we called it a night.. Il update the after pic tomorrow.

I also wire brushed my 355mm Discs and degreased my front 6pots and fitted new bleed screws.





there ready to go on the car just awaiting for the suspension to turn up then the brakes will go on.

Its slowly coming together
