I dont know about bike carbs, but bike boddies work well on car engines.
I had the standard plenum on my st-170 engine and it went ok using vvt, but then fitted gsxr1000 k4 boddies, and what a difference it made, more air flow meant it needed more fuel = more bhp/torque!!!
And u cant beat the noise either!!

Love this car mate and I really can't fault you for fitting the bike carbs to it, A mate of mine fitted a set of gsxr 1100 carbs to his prelude and the difference it made was unreal.
Nice job mate

escort now has 12 months MOT failed on sunstrip and headlights but sorted now with no advisories :Q
have now fitted 10mm spacers to the rear and cut the arch lip out so they wouldnt rub
and fitted spax adjustable front shocks
next week i will be picking upa rs1600i front suspension set up with arb which will get polybushed as will the rest of the car
the rs1800 shell is also getting delivered next week and me and a mate are going to turn it into a trackday car but not until my escort is how i want it first
it might have a colour change depends on the condition of the paint work :-?

the fiesta turned up today and at 12.30 we started work on stripping the fiesta
how it looked when it turned up any one recognise any bits
then sat it on tyres
and an hour and ten mins later looked like this
how it looks now
the engine is a 2.0 mondeo and has a new clutch and water pump fitted
just need a few parts ;
rs turbo fuel pump
oil pick up pipe
throttle body 2.0 and 1.6
and probs a few bits
should hopefully be going in a couple of weeks

engine has now been painted matt black same as the inlet manifold
not sure if the rc cover will stay blue but may go beige
sump will be cleaned aswell
also made the loom by removing 2 relays and 3 fuses from the fiesta loom to
make a separate loom for the engine electrics all it requires is a couple of live
feeds and an earth
also this was a nice surprise :Q :Q
