here is my escort van mk6 ( as i was told today hehe) shes a beauty ex post office van shes done 66ooo miles and is in mint condition

ed what have you done ..................im so jealous now wow did you turn the sring the other way round to get it lowered at the back what engine is in it i got my front bumper color coded to match the car so im hoping a mk6 escort estate back bumper will fit

did you do anything to the inside

do you think rs dog leg wheels would look nice on it

No i put the springs on the other side of the axel, it only had the 1.8 derv motor in it and the inside was all carpet and 2 x 12 inch subs 6x9's etc etc

I think rs dog leg wheels would look shit! lol

oh ok what would you reccomend wheel wise
i am buying 2 12"subs and a amp and a good head unit not sure where to fit them but i want to put som nice speakers in the doors

Paul your van is mint love it i have the exact same bumper as well im thinking of putting the mk6 estate bumper on as well

If you look on the second pic, you can see where the back wheels rub very slightly if the vans fully loaded!

Not much room at the back of the wheel when its not loaded either. Dont think youd get away with any wider wheels unless you fitted spacers!

get a hammer, that soon sorts that out, lol, also when you lower it there will be loads of room in there, i had 3mm spacers before it was lowered and that was fine

55 is the rate of what the springs can carry, the 75 has more heavy duty leaf springs!

I havent got any pics of the sub's, i made a parcel shelf that fitted up against the bulkhead, i have a wire bulkhead still if you want one!

so could you fit 75 leafs and it take more weight in the back then?

be a good idea to do that if it was lowered so it didnt scrape maybe!?

well just bought my self some 195/50/15 from a 2006 fiesta zetec and wow they just fit had to knock a little of the rear wheel arch panel to fit with 3 mm wheel spacers but when i have lowered it it`s gonna look sick



il upload a pic tommorow to let you know how im getting on modifying it

Well it's a van, they're supposed to move forward slowly.
Nice one mate, looking good, I'll have to get some pics of mine taken, it's going to stay fairly standard externally, I just want the interior to be a nicer place to be.
