With any luck I should be purchasing complete front and rear bladed grp a anti roll bar kits from a fella off rallycarsforsale.net and having them sent straight up to Andrew,
they will probably be a bit old and beat up but I can get them cleaned up at a later date and replace parts if really neccessary but there genuine and as cheap as I could find so they will do for now
nothing else to report as yet.

Small update on the parts front-
The engine build is going to be done in stages as i no longer have a lump of cash sitting there so just as and when i have the money things will get done.
Picked up a 4x4 head off ronnie amis that was from his friends saff they were breaking, got it stripped down and taken down to FMS and have checked and all built up to their spec, keeping the original size valves, newman double valve springs, standard followers, FMS spec high torque cams, verniers, and all new studs etc as about 6 of them were fooked and need heli coiling. The head had been previously fettled by someone but taken out a bit more than Tommy would recommend but i haven't got the money to source another head so where gonna go with it.
Other parts i have also picked up are a standard grind crank and standard rods, again from ronnie who has helped me out big time by holding on to them for me till i have some more spare cash, thanks mate
an original 909 grp a 4x4 sump baffle
4x4 oil pump, spray bar and strainer etc
tilton brake bias valve for the rear lines.
The group A bladed anti roll bars are at Andrews now so should have some pics of them soon as he has been manic busy this last month so not much done on that front.
will get some pics up of the parts when i get a chance

not too sure to be honest mate,
Andrew has everything now to finish what he has to do as the only part i had trouble getting was them roll bars so he was holding out for them, but there is still a few things to be done....
uprated adjustable tca's with roll bar mountings for front bladed roll bar
uprated adjustable compression struts front and rear
uprated adjustable steering track rod ends
eccentric top mounts all round
mod front grp a billy's to suit standard hubs
build up front hubs etc with new bearings etc
rear end link bars to cradle etc
1 piece prop shaft
rear x in cage
harness bars
steering column and mounting
battery box recess
bonnet pin mounts
rear bumper mounting
quick release front and rear bumper mounts
weld on aeroquip fittings
brake lines to all 4 corners
hydraulic handbrake (i still need to supply one)
and possibly custom fuel tank and pump mounts etc if money allows
so theres still a fair bit to do...im in no rush at all though so just as and when Andrew can do it is fine by me
gives me a chance to save more money too

Can not fault Andrews work
the Bladed front and rear roll bar kits I got by emailing every single person who had cossie grpa/wrc parts for sale on www.rallycarsforsale.net ,
eventually a well known bloke in the cossie rally spares world said he had some so a deal was done.

Just read through your whole project thread and I have to say this project is PORN! The amount of time and effort that has gone into it so far is amazing.
I cant wait to see the finished thing, Will be a beast!

thanks mate
yeah it was cheap mate and to be honest the lady i bought it off said her mechanic told her the gearbox was shot but it was fine as a run around and i would of used it till it died, was tempting to keep it going as it was taxed and mot'd and get another to chop up

Bloody steal at that price. I'd love one to mess about with. They've grown on me a lot lately. Though I'd have a long way to go before I went for something at this level!
I'm thinking I'm going to get myself a Puma to ruin for the summer instead Will be watching with interest mate, really cool project

small update,
Spoke to Andrew earlier to see how things are progressing as he's been a bit busy lately and the next update will be the rear end strut tops are there, all the rose joints for the link arms and comp struts will be turning up sometime this week and Kenny from Omnitool should have the bearing adapters finished for the grp a rear uprights, although i have forgot what bearing they are going to be using? so Andrew thinks the rear end should be on by the weekend,
hopefully some pics if he gets a chance so watch this space
