Default ST_BEAN's Ford Focus St170

Well I picked my 2002 st up from Eastwood sales in Southend. Very good for a start.

Picked these callipers up a few weeks ago for £50

Well so far, the only modification there is is an alpine head unit, with a standard sub woofer and amplifier from ford.....

Sadly im having to wait for the warranty to run out before I can start to modify the car.

Plans so far in order...

Tinted Windows
Complete the rs brake conversion wiv braided hoselines. Complete
Lowered suspension,
Alloy Refurb, ( In Progress)
Mudflaps all round,
Engine looks, (pipes, chrome etc)
Strut Brace Installed
Engine stabalizer,
Get it onto the dyno run first so i know how much bhp its currently running,
2lt auto air defector snorkel, Complete
K&N panel filter,
67mm throttle body,
Sports cat or maybe a decat,
Aftermarket back box( hoping to get a twin exhaust,
Magnecor spark leads,
Cams n Pulleys

Hopefully ill be able to get round to upgrading the internal parts but im gonna see how things go.

Thats what im planning to do so ill be keeping this as up to date at every new section.

Thanks for looking boys and girls

Allen

Looks great lad, where did you get the brackets for the brembo's? Was thinking of doing the same to my ST but never really found out about getting brackets made up for them.

cheers for the comments guys... Dont bother with them mate, there a great conversion but it took me 6 days to get sorted. in all fairness just go n get a direct brake conversion kit.

Started on the sound system today tho but what shud happen but for the heavens to open up grrrrrrrr. Done the front speakers all i gotta do now is get the rear speakers sorted get the amp wired up as well as the wires from the head unit to all of the speakers

also got a bit of chrome to fit as well

Good effort with the brakes- very nice!

Brembos rule!

If you plan getting some track time, I fully recommend Ferodo DS2500's!

Looking good

alexst0ne - I started wiring in the front speakers on the focus then it started to rain so at the minute Im currently runing on the front speakers with a standard ford speaker and a pioneer speaker... Sounds odd lol. Strut brace I picked that up off another forum. Noticed the difference straight away

cheers matey

Update time now

Steering has developed a knocking sound when you turn the steering wheel while its stationary so looking at that friday... Tinted the rear lights at last, they turned out pretty good for a can of tint spray, Resprayed the focus rs brembos back to silver, just waiting for the brembo caliper stickers to come threw from the post man, started to sort the wiring out for the rear speakers but that didnt work out too well as I couldnt work out how the rear door cards come off. Sprayed the throttle body up a bit as well as tightening the throttle cable so theres a bit more accerlation now. How lucky is that? lol
Enjoy the pics everybody

Xenon headlight wiring needed sorting

New magnecore leads

Newly painted focus rs brembos
Old colour

New colour

These turned up from the postman this morning My original st170 are completely knackered so thought Id buy some new ones and keep them for one I refurb the alloys
Old ones

New ones

Had my St170 badged nicked over xmas. Found this in the local scrap yard for £2

Thanks to shaun for his help over the weekend

leave comments guys
