well if this is the problem then thats not a bent shell! just bad fabrication, listen to the man that knows, like wenny said its just metal it can be fixed. just gone over the photos and the door pockets dont touch the seats either, its a good build but when looking through the thread from the beginning it felt rushed but thats just my opinion

out of all the roof swaps iv done over years iv always replaced with a non sun roof panel never other way round unless it was a crash damaged one

all gone very quiet.....? may i just suggest to put this at rest for the current owner to post up a pic of a tape measure from door rubber lip to door rubber lip and so that u can also see its the same car and not just some other white 1 lol, from previous experience ive bought stuff off locke before and has always been honest... and also i cant understand why the current owner hasnt posted up pics of the doors where been modified, if it was me and had nothing to hide id post up pics.... something doesnt make sense here...

Everything you just said to do prove this wasn't bent I had done when the spoofer says it was bent I measured sill to sill and compared to other escorts aswell and there was only 2-3mm in it wich wasn't an exact measurement anyway as you can't get near the sills for the tunnel but close enough for comparison also I fitted standard escort doors on the car and proved that doors shut fine all was backed up by pics, it really doesn't bother me anymore cause in the end I was still up on the deal bottom line is he was pissed got he got the bad end of the deal and considering he was flogging the car on here for 10.5k then a week later says it was bent just shows you he's not exactly speaking truth somewhere, someone else has the car now and good luck to him he's got a great car and I'm sure he will be happy with it regardless what anyone else thinks

I couldn't give a shit what you think about your precious ford scene and as for us mongs up north, think you'll find that we are the genuine people and not passionford die Hards who suck farts out each other's arses hence why I rarely use this site anymore full of fuds and I wouldn't say all lads south the border as there is a few great guys down there who we get on with just fine
