The rev counter is connected, but I'm not sure for the rev signal, According to the rev counter, the break is at 4200 rpm

Salut

Hi, where exactly you get a rev signal?? I know that it runs from ECU to the tacho, but where I can get it? And which cable is the rev signal?? THX

8. Now you need to run a signal wire for the tacho. This will run from the back of the tacho to the ECU wiring harness found in the passenger side foot well. The signal wire is to be attached to either a black/green or black/orange wire found in the ECU. This can vary in Ka's.

I use the black/green but i'm not sure that's the good signal.
The rev counter cut at 4200 rpm.

A idea? (it's a twin coiled)

It's interesting, because if Ka is twin coiled, the rev counter will show only half of rev, so this isn't the problem I think. Just try the black/orange one. I'm going to fit the rev counter today, so will see.

Hi, I've tried to wire the rev counter, but I don't know where I can find the black/green or black/orange wire. Can I find them behind original tachograph?? Have you got some photo, where i can fit it?? THX

Black/green is on the pin 52 and Black/orange is on pin 26

But i'm not sure that's the good signal.
I will try the white/red ( pin21) or brown/red (pin 22) of the sensor crankshaft position

oh thanks, but I wouldn't like to remove the balck box, so i'll tried to find the black/green wire, or tried to connect the rev counter to the coil with diode.

That looks lovely! Would never have thought to put a Ka on those wheels but they really set it off!

Any chance of you sourcing me a left hand drive steering rack for mine? Struggling to find one for less than the price of a small mortgage here!
