Got it back last night but I had stuff to do last night so it had to sit on the drive all night in the pouring rain
Anyhow took it to work today and had to vac an inch and a half of water out of it
Overall I'm very pleased with the job, thanks Jacko
He did the best he could with the passenger door but its still has ripples that will annoy me so I'm going to seek out a perfect door and fit that eventually.

It was a bit scary for me seeing beefy big dude walking towards me with his arms open wide, I thought you were going to bear hug me and all I could think of was would my hernia operation stitches hang in there, Beefy was gentle though

Is that the one i was harping on about been de-locked? I would have sourced another door anyway!
Its all well and good posting pictures of the shine, but its when you look down the sides and see a ripply mess i can;t stand

Thought I would make a start on it tonight, first job was to line up the bonnet as it was too far forward on the o/s
Got it lined up but the hinge and bolt heads now need painting again
Too many little bits...

That's actually the way I wanted it done Ryan, that way you get all the bolt heads painted and it looks like its never been messed with.

why do people think that a mirror like reflection means its a good paintjob?
there could be fook all paint on there and it still look like a mirror!
the hard work is in the prep, if you do the prep right and are a good painter then there should be very minimal flatting and polishing..
hope it lives up to all the hype Martin?
