Default garage tidy

really small update tonight, as im now back at work everytings slowed to a snails pace

Have had a couple of parts turn up today,

full set of polly bushes, i picked these up super cheap, (cheers Daveysaff)

And a standard 2wd air box, dont really like the look of a massive cone filter, kinda felt like its time for a change,

as for the car, tonight was all about cleaning the garage, the place looked like a fookin bomb site, while i was at it ive put all the bits ive taken off the car in boxes ready for storage, ive even gone as far as labeling them, so when i come to put the car back together it should make the job a hell of a lot easyer,

Ive also bagged all the bolts up,labled them and stored them away with the relevent parts,

Cheers jay

roll on the weekend so i can crack on with more wielding

Default Massive update lol

Right tonight i have a massive up date,

After work i nipped off in the van to pick up what i think could be the biggest part of the build,

I pride myself as being a part time buffty, i love a claen car n thats why im doing this resto, but at the same time im a lazy fooker and love anything that makes my life easy,

So with a brain wave and a thread on "how to clean samco hoses" i came up with this solution.......................................... ..........

Please give a warm welcome to the newest member of my build

Yes its a dish washer, or as its now called a "fishwasher" dam predictive txt on mobiles,

I managed to pick this up for the pricely sum of Ł0,
gotta love freecycle.com

so after getting it home the first thing to do was try it out, only option dive in at the deep end n find something really dirty, The power steering res

will stick some photos up of the out come when its done,

as the fishwasher is going to stay outside ive made a temp home

job done the lazy way of cleanin,

cheers jay

shock shock, the dish washer perfomance was rubbish,

then again after lookin at the powersteering res i realised i had layed it on its side, so it hadnt been washed inside, and to top it off and the real reason it was poor is that i didnt put any dish washer tablets in with it, so my p,s,r has just had a hot bath with no soap, what a muppet

Default Dish washer update

Right massive dish washer update,

well after the poor results the other day, ive tryd again, this time with salt and washing tablets,

To say im pleased is a understatement, i put the filthyest gearbox cradle in that at some point had been painted black, it was cover in oil, its come out lookin new, all the paints gone and the oils nowhere to be seen

looks like everythings going in there, if i could fit the whole engine in i would
