ok folks as rics already posted , the cars running ,

spoke to karl breifley after a very long tedious day at automark ...

aparently there was sevral minor issues that were at fault , most of which wouldnt of been traced without marks diagnostic equipment ,

to say karls happy is an understatement !!!

mark @ automarks not 100% happy with the injectors , so they will be coming bk out to go to hos to be cleaned and flow tested , the ecu will have a basemap wrote , then its final fitting up of the wiring harness ( was remover to be re checked )

dash in and send the bugger back ,

really am happy for ric , been a hell of a long time coming ,

just hope he appriceates the effort karls put into the car over the last cpl month ,

really is a show stopper imo ....

ok peeps , todays update ,

got the injectors and ecu back from base map and testing late yesterday , karl got stuck straight in to fitting them up ,

at the mo the cars still running really rich , so it will be going to get an mot and the fuelling checked up at automarks monday ,

but with the wiring sorted we could get the dash bk in and buttoned up

pics ,

once in ( barring the glove box ) it was pulled outside for a hoover up

shes looking the part now with the dash bk in , glovebox will go in once the base map and fuellings buttoned up

ohh and as rick orderd a mfi k&n , obv with it now being efi , we had no trumpet for the filter ,

so karl knocked this up in aout 20 min lol

card template

bit of sheet metal , weld and coat of paint

sooooo..... all thats left is a couple of hoses ricks bringing tomorrow , final clean and front end spanner check , then its off for mot and fuelling monday , hopefully bk to ricks midweek

so almost the end of the resto thread ,

from me and karl , thanks for all the positive comments peeps and to all whove helped the build a big big thankyou !!!!

Was up at karls today and the car looks spot on really does look nice, nothing else really to sort out apart from the strut tops need doing black.

Soon as the fueling is sorted and mot is done then its back home with me.

Cant wait... 3 years has been a long time ! but its done and am so happy. GET IN THERE SON !!!!!
