Quoted this again as the paint company that Jacko used had been back to his unit and picked up ALL his un opened paints and materials before Beefy had a chance to collect it for me So Gaz has had to order up some more for me... O well shit happens i suppose
Also got Gaz to weld up the holes in the doors and wings for me as i didn't think about it till i saw the pics yesterday as Jacko was meant to do this job for me as i wont be running the bump strips
I hope i didn't course him too much aggro

Your paint and clear was paid for, I went to see Jacko on sat and mentioned the paint as the Lads who are now in his shop mentioned they wouldn't let them take it due to it not bring paid for! Ad for any unopened paint being taken back that is bollocks as I took 90% of the paint from the cupboard the day before he was locked up all I left were not worth taking!

well patto your welcome to go down and ask where it is , because when i chased it up after not getting a answer back from daves brother for over a week thats what i was informed by the boys in the unit now
so some ones full of shit ??? them or dave .....
by all means have a run down there , you could help doug in having to pay for paint twice ........

I'm not saying the paint is there, the lass who brought his paint and supplies had said it wasn't paid for! dave says it is, you know as much as I do! All I was saying is the paint and clear was there and Jacko told me to tell doug it was his to take! I was planning on going down
To collect it for him but as you say it's not there then there's no point.

Right, the lass has collected the paint according to her she never took any clear over, now she says there is Ł80 owing to her for the paint so won't give it up till it's paid although it's of no use to her! So the choice is yours doug of you wanna pay her off you can have the 5ltrs of water I know you had paid in full but that's the best I could do for you, or you can get the lad painting it to get the paint for you but I assume you'll pay more! I know it's a shit situation as you already paid for it.

Most of the prep work is now done and im told that we will be ready for paint after the weekend
all the holes for the rub strips have now been filled and primed back up
The bonnet is going back to bare metal so we can see what we have, Gaz has told me that this bonnet had around three layers of paint on it, which is strange as it was a brands spanking new bonnet when i had it on my car and painted up!! lol Im not too bothered as Gazza said by the time he is done with it' it will be like new again any how.
Over a gallon of paint remover and this is what came off, but i dont even think thats half the bonnet done lol
