miller3's attempt at a resto::: (Going to Auto Dynamix for a full Chassis loom))
Well thought its about time i did a resto thread so here are some pics of the first time i had the old girl painted but be warned pic heavy
Then it was time for paint
And this was the old engine t34.63 greens etc
with this spec it made just over 370 bhp
here is the finished car' drove it around like this for about two years
Then it was time for more power so sold my old engine and sourced a good one from a pal of mine (200 block) which i striped down and rebuilt just to make sure it was nice and fresh' so at this stage i had it lightened and balanced with the crank knife edged and 6 long studs and just for good measure the head ported too
So with the engine back together done a few miles on it then i started to buy a few more bits ..
got my GT30 set up off of Kelv from this very forum and glad i did as i would now consider us good friends as quite a few others (just goes to show amongst alot of the bitching that goes on this is still a GREAT place to meet some truly pucka people )
So turbo on and a bit of quip
also got a Ryan loom from Polly x ( thank you Stu )
So all back together again but with a swedish plenum and exhaust down pipe work (BIG BIG thanks to fieacos dan ) it was teat drive/more running in time......... to Le mans and back ... so all went to plan and im using the car to go to and from work but all that traffic just killed the new 6 paddle i had put in' only managed 3k and this is the stage we are at now' so got me a nice mondeo to use for work
But before the clutch let go i saw a brand new shell up for grabs and i couldn't say no' so a little road trip later ( again BIG thanks to JTECHSAFF another good friend i have from good old PF) it was mine
Got this shell as tbh the paint job i got done before' the paint has sunk in place's and the rear arch's need doing so why not start from a pucka shell to start with... and also with a second car now i can keep this as a toy so this is what i have planed for it
Hope you like and sorry about the crap pic's
