thanks for all the positive comments lads ,
dont think weel see the full effect of the paint till its paneled up and the kits on ,
but the way it highlights the arches and lines just does it for me !!!

should be home sometime next week id imagine ,
may have a week off it , been stressing alot about it lately as k and gaz will know lol
then start drawing up a plan for the rebuild ect ,

without wanting to put a damper on the great work done so far by all concerened, do you not think you could have done something with the filler cap?
or is there a secret secret that no one is supposed to know about that i've just let out of the bag?

thanks mate , that lil touch your sorting me should help set it off nicely !!
will settle up this evening ..
no mate theres a couple of reasons ,
1 , quarters were mint, didnt want to weld them .
2. the design for the car was to look factory , so filler was staying
3. not a bif fan of relocated filler caps , unless done for motorsport effect i think they look chavvish
4. im hoping to locate the tank under the car , so in essence there was no real reason to relocate
now si , the colour was stornoway grey , its a land rover / jaguar coulor ...

only problem now ?? lol its been the only problem since the very beginning mark ,the bar was always set as high as poss from the get go hence why nothing has been rushed , its took so long to get to this stage , and it may take another year or two to finish ,
but as ive stated before , it will be built to the best standard i can , using the best parts possible , to the best of our abilitys !!!
and im sure a few more of your parts will be on it lol

to be honest , im not to worried on the colour right now ,
i do agree it looks slightly lighter than we expected ,
but untill its got the panels on and out of the booth , into natural light i wont judge it ..
but even if its no darker / lighter than the pics , its still very very nice lol !!

FUCK ME..... very nice colour... turned out friggin mint... Dam freaking mint paint Job... now get it built up. pmfsl..and on the road... bet you can't wait to drive it..
