my new garage is about the same width as a stock one , but a little bit longer , i will be boarding the roof out inisde and giving it a lick of paint at some point , ill get dimensions then lol
got a house move friday sat , buzy sunday

hi mate, i have been following your build and i have got to say i am impressed with the workmanship that has gone into this car. everything has been completed to a high standard. i am a panel beater and painter by trade and i have not seen one car on this forum that has had the amount of time and effort spent on it good luck with the build.

little update as of today -8 /2/2011
two sets of steel mk 3 bumpers were dropped off at the local blasters today ,
will collect them friday , ill be keeping the best pair , and rsturbowhites been given the other pair
also popped to my local engineers , having a pair of custom made valve stem oil seal drifts made to cup the seal when refitting ,
once there here , and i get my double valve springs , the head can be rebuilt
graham , - got ya hubs mate , yeah they look pukka
best get on fitting them lol !!

have been reading this from the start and what a build everything about it is perfect and factory. hats off to all involved that is gonna be a brand new car no other way to say it lol fair play to all especially karl man is a legend

well as of today - 22-2-011
offically moved into me new pad , spent the last two weeks getting it re decorated ect ect , missus happy- beef happy ,
even got will pedley staying for a few days lol ( fucker dont miss a trick )
anyway , as per previous post , bumpers were blasted and primered so ready for paint ,
got my valve tools , and now ive a little time , im going to try and get the head reassembled and make a start on building up the bottom end ,
unfortunately , at this point in time barring a miricale ,
i dont think the car will be painted for central day ,
dissapointed is not the word , unfortunately i just dont have the funds to get the work done in time , ( this may change if work picks up , ) but right now my committments lie in haveing the house ready ,
so i do apologise to all the folks who want to see the car there atm i dont see it happening

couldn't find a nurses outfit? have to spend too much time at work?

the more i think about it, the more it seems that this car will be completed before it's finally unveiled
i know you want to show of spech's handiwork, not that many will be able to see any of his welds because they look so factory, but a fully completed car would really round off either the first or the last show of the season
so in which case you've got either 6 months, 12 months or 18 months in which to get it all nutted and bolted up
don't rush though, think of it as a pint of guiness

There's still plenty of other bits and bobs you can be doing which dont cost to much and save time in the long run.
