ok so another day is over and i feel like im on a episode of overhauling ,

first thing this morn ,

strip leather from the rear benches ,




once that was done someone had graffitie'd my car



so i decided to add my own comment ,


lol , once that was done it was time to head out the unit to go donor car hunting

anyway after a bit of haggling , deal was struck and car was mine towed home and this is whats now in my garage








shes a mk 4 escort bonus , 54 k on the clock , and quite a clane lil car

has been undouched ,barring the slight dents in the roof when it was hiabd ,

will be stripped at the weekend ,

so then i want and spoke to a local sandblasting firm , and managed to book the shell into be blasted tomorrow for the bargain price of 80 quid

so it was back to the unit to remove everything from the car





then the sunroof was removed to reveal




and before i could say "can we patch it "

jacko replied !!





now barring the outer sills that need removing , the shell is ready for blasting tomorrow

will update then

ok so the fronts seats came back today , tommys done a blindin job , like factory ,

and the shell was striiped of the last bits of sealer , and its been dropped off at the sandblasters,

afpmsl - quality , well the roof is up in the air , excuse the pun , i will be putting a brand new steel roof with sun roof , this was removed , the inner tray split , sandblasted and then sealed and re put together

as the thought of a carbon roof appeals to me the current positon the cars in it would be stupid to blow 450 quid on a carbon roof , espically when it needs a hell of alot more important things , so ive decided get the car to the primer stage and then decide then , can always skin the roof that will be on as twins did ,

great progress bud, I think you're doing the right thing not choosing to buy CF roof skin just yet as said money better speant else where

I also replaced my roof skin on my project for new pannel from ford to get rid of sun roof and had the same choice to make

dingle its not getting scrapped , but it is getting raped for spares , then the floor and enging running gear will be weighed in to recoup , the rear wheel wells already been sold for Ł50 quid ,
