ok folks , so the stonechip as put on the floor tuesday , so its had a day n a half to cure ,

anyway we got the tunned cleaned ,degreased and scotched ready for the basecoat

the basecoat mixed up

was then time to start getting it on

was built up in a series of light coats to monitor any reeaction , of which there was none

i got a bit piccy happy lol

anyway , we left it for a cpl hrs this afternoon to fully dry the base , no reaction , so went to town with the laquer this eve

frosty the snowman had the job of applying the laquer

pics dont really do it justice tbh , wish i had a dlsr camera , some of the pics are during the laquer stages ,

end results like this

considering karls had no formal training at prep n painting id say hes done a fucking outstanding job imho Ź!!!!!

seriously couldnt be more chuffed , think it looks fucking brill !!!!!!

again thanks to k for all the hard work

beef & k

warren we held off as gaz will be painting the top half of the bay , and weve still to paint the inner wings and the inside of the new wings yet , so just seemed to make sense to concentrate on the back end , still the front panel to go on aswell yet

were going to chip iinside of wings and then paint them up , im sure gaz can then mask to the lip of the inner wing and blow the full bay , legs and underside of legs in

beef
