some stuff arrived today for the escort il go out to my lockup tomorrow morning and fit the parts and take a couple of pics








And i must add that the stainless products i purchased off ebay were from a guy called welderlad apart from the obvious rapidford item and the guys work is very good his stuff is also cheap so give him a try

didnt understand your last bit there mate but if your on about how hard it is to fit the rs gear its just a case of buying the engine mounts,gear linkage and driveshafts from oddkid creations then chopping a bit from the inner wing then slotting it in! me and my mate will have it fitted in no time hes done a few zetecs into mk4's with the mtx75 box

Me and my brother were down my lockup today dropping off some stuff and he asks me how much ive spent so far on it so i get my brain in motion and have a quick add up of how much ive spent so far including the car

lol oh ok i put up a post in the wanted section and i seen a post in the general discussion the other night from a guy asking how much focus rs running gear goes for as he had the lot ready to sell so someone replies with around the 2k mark and he replies with anyone want it for 1300 YES MEEEEEEEE lol so i pm'd him pronto and got in there first happy days

i like it. my mate brought this up to dundee from england few months back. he then delt it to my other mate . i asume it was you that had the golf vr6 turbo he has now? the only thing im not sure about is the rear window. could do with being bigger imo. cool project anyway mate. good luck with ur plans

yeah mate i had the missile of a golf ive not really noticed how small the back window is tbh lol the plans at first was to tidy up the engine and interior but eveything just spiralled out of control its too late now ha ha gladyou like it cheers bud

Water pipes for my turbo arrived today so ive got 2 hours to play with the escort until ive got to come home for my daughters christmas play then im away offshore tomorrow so the escort will be on hold again

yeh mate i know what you mean. im exactly the same. my mk3 convertible was planned to get a wing and tidy up. now its had bare shell rebuild and went from a 1600 gl to 220 hp turbowith more to come. same with my fez st too. cant help myself

Right small update folks ive came to my senses and im not gonna bother putting the focus rs engine in as its gonna cost me an arm and a leg not that money is an issue its just i would rather keep it the way it is cvh wise and work with what ive got! im not wanting a ballistic missile just something to get me to cruises and shows etc so the engine is for sale on here and the plan is 2wd saph cos in moonstone blue or flint grey and the pickup for sunday fun il update photos when i get home and busy with it.

Right got the turbo fitted today along with samcos,oil feed pipe,alternator brackets,alternator and started on the radiator but i need to drill a couple of holes tomorrow and hopefully il be finished then il take some photos of the finished article

Just bought the following parts for the beast

wilwood 4 pot calipers with drilled and grooved disks
2wd cossie rear disk conversion
bailey oil breather with fitting kit
new arb bush holders
stainless underbonnet vent covers

il try and get some pix up before i go away offshore again
