Nice build and i cant wait to see it finished.
I noticed the ABS booster is built into the Master as a complete assembly. Personally i never liked this system and ended up ripping it all out my old Sierra. also due to other failure related issues.
I recently installed a Merc C-class (C63) ABS booster pump assembly into my friends car by removing his existing pumps assembly. I used a Sierra Master (NON-ABS) and ran lines to a new C-class Booster The result was so much better over the original Bosch pump (Much faster almost seemless). They are pretty easy to wire up also, You have your control wire (sends a pulse), Pos and Neg, and a failure wire.
For a car of this nice maybe its time to upgrade this one ABS component. Theres no need to change the ABS computer or sensors either.
Just a thought .
I wonder if you can mate the skyline trans to one of the New 5 cyl RS engines and fit it to this. It would make a sick sound
Cheers

Dont worry this car will never be sold as it will never be finished,
The problem with rich is clearly he has absolutly no taste so he wastes his money on gay morrets and wrc wings!!!!!! further slowing the project down,
oh and on a side note where the fooks my cam cover
#290
told ya, i have more tatse than you, im not driving round in a gay coloured taxi, which doesnt knw wether it wants to be an road car or a track car and has to have a number plate in the window
the car will be finished, as perfection takes time and good things come to those who wait lol
and i told ya i weighed the cam cover in, so i owe you all of 27p
and tony im not selling this one mate, didnt want to sell the cabs but it wasnt practical for what i needed, the only time this sells is when the next car i want startes to come down in price

time for an update anyhow, nit much but i got done what i wanted to do so i can do underneath over xmas
so first of all was to primer the inside of the car
then paint, with some super shine laquer aswell, this is what it looked like out the gun and looks like this dry aswell lol
tried to get a reflection of my hand but was hard, so best i could do
next was to get the engine bay in primer, as i want the bodyshop to paint it
so all flatted down ready
also as im going to run a gt30 i want my air filter behind my bumper, so ive enlarged the hole on the inner wing just a bit bigger than the air intake pipe for the turbo
the engine bay was then primered with 2 pqac hih build, was flatted and re primered ready to be flatted and painted
after this i wanted to sort the rear arches, sills and back panel, reson being was they were stone chipped over a year ago and the stone chip is still wet, the front arches are fine, but everywhere else inc underside is wet for sum reason, so this was all taken down to bare metal, i had to use a blow torch on the arches as the sealent wouldnt shift
the back panel
arches, you can see where i vae banded them to widen them for my wheels
once this was done, it was to acid etch primer the panels i took down to bare metal, while i was bare metalling ay surface rust i found was cleaned out to fresh metal aswell
next was to seal all the joins that needed sealing by using a bodyshop sealent
arches and wings
also the a pillar panel where trhe seal holds as i took the windscreen to bare metal to get rid of the sealent
then i used a brushable seam sealent to give a bit more protection
then it was high build primered ready for the stone chip when i do the underside
and thats it, will be another tomorrow as the underside will be getting started

brushable seam sealent
rich, i dont know yet as i havnt added all my reciepts up and i havnt finished, but roughly id say around Ł350 maybe a little more to paint the underside, then obviously you have all your powdercoating ontop, then new bolts etc, then it just gets outa control lol

yes, its as simple as that from what ive been told by my local skyline tuner anyhow
off is 2wd on is 4wd 50/50
the skyline ecu for the gearbox will adjust the pressure to make the transfer ratio variable, but this requires inputs from engine management, speed sensors, abs sensors etc and gets really complicated
i could oput a variable resistor in the electrics to turn the voltage down to slow the pump down to have variable splits front to rear though, as the skyline box works on pressure plates not a chain, so the more pressure you apply the more power to the front wheels you have

use a twisted wire wheeels(on a big angle grinder to take the best of it of then use the drill onesthats if your going to bare metal it?
