thanks again for the comments
havnt been ujp the garage for a while as ive been away for a few weeks and its fucking freezing.
shot up there today as im back to work tomorrow so thought id better get used to the cold again
got the front fogs all wired up again and new bulbs fitted, these have never atchualy worked for some reason but they are sweet now.
got all the dash back in as i decided to move my boost gauge to a holder that sits where the clock is, also fitted my innovative afr gauge which doesnt seem to be workin, if anyone has any experience with these idappreciate some tips, i cant get it to come out of cal mode so it jus shows a load of naff readings, i didnt realise how complicated these things are
Got the front bumper fitted up ( with tie wraps ) as my bumper fixings snapped off, im hoping cdf racing get there ones made up so it can be fitted properly.
i then decided to take the car back to mine for a clean up, heres some pics i took, shit quality but you get the idea
got a bit camera happy though
still need to get some bumper strips back in and arch linners but shes nearly there hoping to be back on the road for april

loom
Hello people ive owned my saph now for about 4 months, after owning 3 rs
turbos i though it was time for a cosworth.
I went a bit over the top with my series 2 and after many thousands of
pounds i decided it was time to break. This turned out to be a good idea
as i managed to pick up a clean 2 owner 54,000 mile mercury grey saph
from piston heads. It was the first one i looked which was arranged at
ford fair. I went back a week later and put down a deposit. The first
owner was for nearly 18 years, 8 of which it was sitting in a garage.
The second owner was only for a year and he sold up for an escort
cossy.
It had a few niggly bits which needed doing they didnt put me off.
Shes had a pretty easy life and only got stage 1 chip 4 months before
i picked her up.
As always i plan on not spending any money mooding but it hasnt realy
worked out like that. The lump was leaking oil from the usual places
cam seals, rear main etc and after picking up so many bits i thought i
may aswell wip the engine out and give her a freshen up for the new year.
I started this a few days ago with me mate gary aka kitchen devil, after
an hour or so she was ready to come out so i shot over to a friend of
mine phil and picked up the craine.
Forgot my camera earlier so no pics of the lump comming out
Basiaclly plans are to go to stage 3, greens, 3 bar, 500 cooler and t34. 48
heres some bits ive picked up
Ordered all new gaskets and new sensor kit from matt lewis yesterday,
thought as im fitting new car looms loom theres no point in using old
shitty sensors.
Will post some more pics up over the weekend of cleaning the bay etc
hope you like

Bit more progress today as the weather was good, decided to get the rear springs on as i was still on the standards.
Was feeling a lil delicate due to a few beers lastnite so seemed to take fucking ages, got the springs on and some new roll bar drop links i had lying around. Well pleasede with the way it sits now looks spot on to me.
Under inspection of the under side im now definatly going for the underside resto as soon as ford fair has been and gone, its never seen any underseal before so theres plenty on surface rust to be seen, gonna start collecting bit for that and carnt wait to crack on with it
anyway heres a few pics

ive got the bits now also but ive herd that the hard pipe is better as it doesnt flex, thing is with mine ive got to many joints going on.
If you do yours in flexy go straight from the end of the copper down through the arm with a gromet in the hole where it normaly joins the copper and straight into the caliper

shot down to fords today and picked up some new bumper inserts and a fitting kit for the arch liners, although i dont think theres enough fixing for all of them.
Also bought a rocker of shaun655 as mine had a breather in the rocker which i wasnt using anymore and also wanted to go back to red
Bought some paint stripper and high tem gloss red and had a go
was a little cold when i started so decided to give up but managed to strip it back most of the way and apply a few coats
Ordered up a group a diff mount off msd aswell so got plenty to get on with
hopefully more pics over the weekend

soz for the delay mate, i have been looking but not found them yet, the fella is in harrow just up the road from me but cant find his e bay shop for shit
Had a few hours spare today so got up the garage and fitted my new bumper inserts, had dave ( rolling rides ) up with me. They had been in my van for ages so cranked the heating up and they soon loosened up. Didnt they would make much difference but they realy do finish it off.
Gave her a good polish aswell but still got loads of compound behind all the plastics etc, found a few little bits that im pissed of with aswell......
Lso ordered a group a diff mount although its still not turned up after a week and a half and on the hunt for some ap / tarox brakes, get payed tomorrow so will hopefully sort some out
Ment to take a pic of daves to post up aswell but forgot, he took me out for a boost as it had been soooo long, one rolling burnout later and i was completly satisfied
will get some pics up soon
