i been busy down the garage today stripped the old rear callipers down
before
after all ready to go for plating
rear drive shafts painted in 2k
modified throttle pedal
rear hubs all stripped etch primed & painted in 2k
front shafts

i won a billet power steering pulley of ebay for Ł20 it will be re anodized black
i also painted my rear link arms off the wrc style cradle
wrc bladed roll bar & gear box x member
and the rear uj covers for the gaitors

big panels can be done but as ive got no space up here im a bit limited to doing it in the lounge Anything that can fit on the kitchen table is fair game though.
You could mould off your roof on the car easy enough. Mould making isnt very technical if you can play with gel coats and fibreglass.
its just the resin infusion that needs a vac pump and vac bagging consumables.
I could come down if you want to help show you how it works but its nothing beyond your skills.

i stripped the front end down to refurbish it all & finally got every nut bolt washer off the car for zinc plating along with the rear calipers front diff support brackets power steering pipes front strut bodies blades for wrc roll bar compression strut adjusters ,adjustable tca adjusters & loads of other bits i can not remember but its about 20kg,s in weight

Thanks Glenn i think i need it there got to be getting on for 200 bolts ,nuts washers ,but a fair few will be spares the critical ones are easy to work out ,the fun bit is putting the rear calipers back together .

yes i got a complete set of seals & the bellows for the sliders off ebay ,the fun bit is there is a bloody great spring in the bottom which is part of the adjuster mechanism & its held in with a circlip .

during the process of zinc plating microscopic bubbles of hydrogen get trapped in the metal & it causes them to snap .the process to solve this problem is bake them in a oven for 24 hours @ 200degree,s centigrade in a special industrial oven .
i will dig the pics out of what happened to my comp struts.

Where were your comp struts from ?
I sadly have a set of blades which weren't done, although I should say I can't be sure if they were done or not but have been advised not to use them incase.
