I finished off my wrc style engine mounts i had to weld on a support for the inlet plenum to stop it cracking .






And once that was done i took the inlet manifold off & took a few pics of my inlet ports

Its not just the swedish ones that suffer if you do not fit the standard support bracket on a standard plenum you run the chance of snapping manifold studs off in the head .so its just good insurance to fit the support what ever you are running .

I got to admit all my tig welding is done by one of the nuclear welders up our factory .
There is nothing wrong with doing the engine kawasaki green

And the mounts will be titanium powder coat .

Seen funniest thing I've seen in ages last night when Andy kindly bought me his panduit gun to assist with wrapping my exhaust on the Ka









And off he went into the night

I had 4 pints of beer so could not drive & it was to far to walk ,so i took my 8 year old daughters push bike as it was quicker lol.

effort i was knackered ,real hard work when you have to have your knees wider than the handle bars to pedal lol

 

i got the rear spoiler back tonight all ready for taking a mould off

i also got the engine in 2k paint as well .

 

P.s before any body moans that i got over spray on the sump its going for powder coating to tart it up .
