get car on axle stands fit all suspension & steering get it on wheels mock up body kit & hopefully strip manifolds off strip block to bare metal & paint kawasaki green .

so i started doing a temporarily build up job for the photo shoot top mounts on


rear cradle & suspension on







RS logo laser cut into link arm mounting points





cleaned the engine up a bit



steering column in



one foe Richie i done the hard bits manifolds off

any thing i can do to help out mate just ask
if i fitted them underneath it would of raised the car by fitting them on the top it gives me more suspension travel all the turret tops they are bolted onto are 5mm steel so plenty strong enough .
will do Si.

i never see any trains ,i only ever work on a t3 posession ( no trains )i worked boxing day ,easter bank holiday & this bank holiday fitting this bridge ,3 lift shafts & 3 stair cases & a huge suspended walk way .And the only other times i do it is screw piling putting up new rail way signals .

Andy I have read why you've placed the top mounts that side of the strut top, is there not away the spring base can be adjusted to take away the movement in ride hight you're referring to?

It's just I hate seeing the top mounts on that side of the strut top lol

I just doesn't ever seem to make sense when I see it there.

 

I sandwiched mine with extra plate on the top...

 

as said before Kev if i fitted the top mounts below i would loose suspension travel &my car will be running really low so every bit helps

 

i got the car on the floor with all its wheels on ,its low very low




And the link arms a perfectly level at the ride height i want to run at







im looking forward to the photo shoot tomorrow but first thing in the morning i got to go up the factory to pick up the other side of the body kit ,so i can fit it first thing .

 

looks mint mate, allot of work gone into this since i looked about a year ago!

really coming on now andy , fantastic car and iam really looking forward to seeing it all come together , did you buy a genuine pair of bilstein suspension with wrc cases ? if so can you tell me what rate inserts are in them and how long the cases are from top to bottom please , of course when you get a spare 5 mins lol
