its a bit over kill using 50x5 mm plate ,buti might make a ally one later on .

so far so good not a spacer in sight .

got to make a new prop shaft & do the exhaust system .& then i will be making the rear spoiler as Michael is sending me a full size template over from switzerland to copy in aluminium .

Thanks Paul i wanted to get a silencer down the side of the gear box but it crosses over to far back so its now going in under hand brake

 

started on modifying the prop shaft


im doing away with the front section of prop & binning the rubber dough nut .

just got to go up my mates house to get a internal sleeve made up & get the two bits faced off so i can get them tig welded up and get a 18mm ally spacer made up to take up the gap where the doughnut was.


which is the same as martoon done on his car

 

All my bits are up the machinist to finish the prop so until i got that i can not finish my exhaust system so guess what im doing tomorrow.




i seen a old mate of mine & managed to blag 5ltrs of 2k gloss black for free

Well its painted woo hooo , get pics up when the garage is a bit clearer .

 

Before i painted the interior i drilled all the holes that will be bolting the floor plates down with

its another big step in the right direction thats for sure im just waiting on the bits to finish the prop shaft then i can finish the exhaust ,then i can paint the engine bay, underside,& boot area .which is another big step forward again because then i can build it up for the last time.
