that version that Andy has is the sierra one, the later escort one was built using a carbon cover type, I can still get the escort ones (the cover bit) but the sierra ones, well, there wasnt that many to begin with, and there are many variations of the design that differant builders did to suit the application, so there may be others but when they turn up who knows !

i thaught it might of been for that reason about fumes & fire ,i got it because it looks neater than the standard motor.

this has the two, and its purely for the set up, you need to keeo the steering arm angle close to the tca angle, and when you change the cars geo from gravel to tar the tca angle can change dramatically, there was at some point gravel and tar xmembers !

hi graham not touched it for nearly two weeks cant be bothered lately not touched the arches since i got them in primer ,although there is loads to do i can not do much until the cage is in, them i can see about getting the interior & engine bay in primer then i can get the underneath stone guarded primed then top coat the engine bay & underneath, then its buy new pedal box & mount to roll cage make new steering column which is mounted off cage also.
just remembered i also got to buy & weld in some chassis mounted engine mounts before paint .then i got to get some dimensions of the box section so i can make my own group a style x member to take the tca,s & steering rack .

Well yes, but I can hardly talk really, got a load to do to get it done for the summer and here I am telling other people to get on with their's Is there anything you can trim off the build list Andy? This is some thing I have been thinking over, for example using the existing x-member and doing the new one next winter? Get the body and all that done then sort out the upgrades kinda thing.
