I have had a result and have found a good donor car for the rails, its a 91 2000e which were quite rare so im told but im no expert..
I have also striped out the head lining from this and loads of screws and fixings. The rear underside is mint!! I only wish i had found this before as i would have taken all the rear beam and arms too
When the guys ready to take it down the scrapy im going to follow with a great big petrol cutter and get the rails before the cars gone for good.

Looking good chops, i've given up on the scrap yard owner cutting my sections out so i'm doing it myself this week with a petrol cutter! I'll get some pics up in mine when i've cut them out!

That would be great if you could Nosrst, how are you planning to cut and weld in to the car? Cut through the car shell or go in at 90 degrees across the box section near where it joins the car?

Unpick the original welds mate, do that with both the old and the new.
To get the new section out of the donor i'll just cut at it from back to where it starts before rear footwell, then unpick the welds on the chassis rails afterwards. Removing the original Cossie ones will take slightly more time as it needs to be a bit neater.

Well i can get anything done actually.
If you want your lines done let me know, if there not too far done, getting mine done, i polished my last ones, last about 3 weeks before they werent corroded wont be doing that again
Brakes lines im getting re-done green.
