got my rear quarters today and the sills, never fitted anything like this before (cuttin old panels out!) how do i get those stupid spot welds off that that great henry ford put on lol, anyone done this before? cars a mk3 xr

 

you ned a spot weld cuter or as i use a spot weld drill bit , the tip is almost flat with a centering cutter in the middle

 

Where did you get the quarter panel from and how much was it ??

 

you need a butterfly cut, or trepaning drill

the panels i got from a company local to me - berkshire panels based in aldermaston, rear quaters were £76 + vat
