*Update*
Finally got around to whipping the head off the motor in the car and my block fears turned out to be unfounded..........
The block is undamaged, an intermittent wiring malady has caused headgasket failure so it`s all good
Gonna put some fresh wire rings in and stick another head on for now so it can stay on the road for the winter until the new one is built

New update.....
Due to personal issues and a nightmare run up to christmas, fook all got done to Shonky yet....
But never fear, i`ve just been and dragged her out and made a list of bits and bobs, so she may be back on the road mid next week
We`ve made a few tiny changes too, so she should be a little quicker now
She`ll be going on the Dyno sometime in the next two weeks and hopefully in perfect shape for a run to Central day to blow some cobwebs out

Update time.....
I found my finger...
It`s a bit crusty and decomposed, so i`m not sure it`ll go again
And she runs once more, albeit on the old motor for now but i really want to make all the shows this year and have some fun with her
Current engine spec aint bad mind you...
Mot soon and back on the road early next week
