yeah, my mind was set on 400bhp and no grip in the wet, so was just thinking tyres,
though a wet suit and you'll be fine
be such a shame if it's not there though
was looking forward to filming it as it went past

100% it won't be there.
I'll be there though....
should have a new toy by then actually. Fingers crossed. Think it will be too loud for track though.... as 911 seems to have become in it old age!

Its pretty quick. does 193mph top end standard. Just need to find the right one....
need to do it quick before I change my mind and do something sensible or Renton talks me into buying something REALLY stooopid!

Ive not had the pleasure of even a passenger ride yet, so cant really comment but im sure they are totally mental.
Got a friend who does a lot of work on them though and I must admit the build quality on things like the gearbox would put me off!
GTR Thrills, GTR Bills
But I dont have your financial means obviously, so the concerns I have would be irrelevant to you, so for you Im sure it makes loads of sense to get one.
They are undoubtably a massively capable car!
Put a US spec front end on it though, to ditch all that passenger safety bollocks

thought about a GTR chip. ALOT.
LOVE THEM. They are amazing. The ULTIMATE supercar bargain.
thought about a Gallardo spyder...
Settled on a Ferrari F430 spyder. Just need to find the right one now. I want black with black.... and need to decide F1 or manual.
Renton and Maria are trying to talk me into a Lambo Murcielargo as they are similar money.... and to quote them both 'the doors open upwards'
GTR would be the SENSIBLE bet!

F430 would be a truely amazing car for just going out for a nice blast at the end of a hard days work to unwind on a summer evening.
wouldnt even need to drive it particuarly fast, just potter around enjoying the noise and give it the occasional blast on a straight bit of road here and there, something the GTR would be no fun for at all I would wager, in the GTR unless you are driving it balls out, it would just be boring.
Great car in terms lifestyle choice IMHO, and still very capable on track of course, people forget how good ferraris actually are on track just cause most of them are owned by old men having a midlife crisis etc

manual as much as the F1 looks cool I think it would become annoying if you look at the 355 F1 they sell for less than the manuals and usually have less miles and from what I have read that is usually down to the owners not wanting to have to spend their entire drive in it thinking about how to change gear cause they have been driving a normal car all week

still think a manual gives more interaction with the car... and more pleasure.
I do see your point though!
'F1' sounds cooler too
