he was faster than me at Bedford last time out when we were having a play....
The ONLY reason I was able to stay with him.... and he will probably NOT know this (as I was doing it VERY quickly and making no fuss about it
) is that I was taking two ENORMOUS shortcuts, that were getting me right back on his Escorts ass!!! I was getting murdered when his Escorts got up on its legs at over 100mph.... and I hit a WORLD of aero hell at above 120mph!
Will be great laugh whatever though.
and I am gonna work hard at improving my driving

cant wait for a passenger seat in yours and stu's when the offer comes up.
saying that stu is constantly telling me we should go out for a blast. never seems to happen though for one reason or another.

I think you underestimate your own driving TBH Lee, do one of the corporate days at bedford together with him and you can find out, surely you can pretend he is a client next time you go there, after all he could easily pass as an ex 80s boyband member with money to invest or something

mate, I will MURDER him at the motorsport sensation day!
I RULE that day....
as you would expect from the amount of times I have done it!
Its just practice and knowing the cars and the circuit layouts (and where to cheat
) I have a video of me driving one of the single seaters around there.... its pretty fooking cool actually. I will try and upload it. You can't cheat on those either. They have GPS on them, linked to the ECU.... pretty clever. You go to wide or try and cut a corner. Cuts the power for 5 seconds on you.
Very annoying.... but also very safe and very clever.
He is better than me though everywhere else. I don't mind admitting that.

Race him at the ring in a pair of hire cars, I reckon even there rather than bedford you will match him.
Your driving is SO much better now than it was a few years ago IMHO, you're genuinely quick these days for a trackday driver but dont seem to realise it yourself!

Taking Stu and Renton to Gordon Ramseys Boxwood tonight as it goes.
Martoon has had something come up at last minute so had to cancel on us leaving a spare spot.
I just called Rich Pon 30 mins ago and he took my arm off
not seen him for YEARS.... wonder if his Chin has grown?

I suspect Mike also wont drive your car as hard as you would either for that matter TBH, he's a bit too respectful as well, but in the case of my clio its only worth Ł3 if someone bins it anyway.

PMSL, im going to get properly humiliated by that data then as no way will I ever drive anyone else's car hard cause it would be such a struggle for me to pay to replace it, cant we put the GPS gear in my clio instead and all have a go in that, its more my level financially

I haven't been sitting still while you have been playing at building the fastest coffin in the west . The mods are all designed on improving the car beyond recognition, and if it is finished in time SHOULD shave several seconds a lap off Bedford

It will still have full interior, but has had a considerable amount of weight removed (will know total once completed) - especially from the front of the car, along with weight repositioned around the car to improve the balance as close to 50/50 as I can get.

Seriously not a lot to do now really.
Got to make the new dash and fit the AIM MXL and Camera System, plumb the fire system in, finish the water injection flow and tank monitoring system, fit new cams seals, bolt in seats, fit longer front wheel studs and fit fit front wings.................Christ, quite a bit really!!!
Oh then it needs mapping as its on the T62000 now. Its all running and starts nice.

Mine goes to Pro Alloy on Saturday for its shiny new charge cooling setup design and fabrication which will finally give me the airflow from the GT30. Will probs need some mapping as well then to ensure it all OK.
