After much debate, i finally decided where i was now going to mount the fuel pressure regulator. Previously this had been mounted on my offside inner wing. However with the all new fuel system i decided i wanted a more central position so as to make the fuel lines as neat and as equal length as possible.
I can probably say im the world wide winner for the most over engineered FPR bracket in history. Not content with the first one i made, (Felt a bit flimsy) i made a 2nd one. This time out of 6mm ally billet. Its now very very solid and feels nice and strong when bolted up. I managed to get the outlets positioned nice for the returns entering the sides on the exits of the rails.
The rails i will also be making myself.

Okay guys,
Not much to update, except my turbo is on back order from Garrett so its not here yet. Nevermind as ive been busying myself making a brackets etc for the new fuel filter.
Also painted the fuel reg bracket etc.
(Please take no notice of the mess by the filter, this is where all my wires are cable tied up for now)

Well as you know, im kinda stopped waiting on my turbo and some pipework.
Ive spoken with the guys in the US and im assured the turbo is coming out to me within the next few days so i should see it in about 10 days or so. I hope lol. So im not too worried about it, its here when its here ya know.
Ive been sorting other things too, i'll post some more when i receive the parts.
In the meantime. Somthing ive always wanted was a white "Delrin" gearknob. You know the ones you see on the WRC cars. I couldnt find anyone in the UK that made these but found a company in the US that make gearboxes and they agreed to make me one to fit my 6 speed.
Here it is. Dead chuffed with the quality and look. I think it really complements the interior theme well.

Tiny update,
I didnt tell anyone about this as i didnt know how good it was going to be.
Basically with the new turbo setup im gonna have to run a large 4" inlet pipe with an RCM style inlet cone/trumpet and big 6" K&N filter.
Well the RCM one is a spun alloy trumpet, of which was nice but then i had another idea. Basically i got in touch with Barry at Carbontec shop.
I told him what i wanted and he agreed to make me a 6" to 4" vacuum infused carbon trumpt. I never knew if it was going to be any good or not.
The quality of his work is absolutely staggering, i never thought it would ever be this good. Im totally made up with it. Here it is, arrived this morning, now just gotta order a filter to fit
Massive massive thankyou Barry, its gorgeous

Absolute perfection there mate, the fabrication of the components is top draw stuff, exactly what i'd expect on a car belonging to u. Have u been cleaning that bay or has it just stayed clean over the years?

Nah mate, it was clean where it could be seen but very grubby underneath. Ive spent quite some time cleaning everything up so its all nice and fresh for when the motor goes back in.
Cheers for the props

Love Mos Matt but theyre just so damn heavy.
Cant feel like i can ditch my 8.9kg flowformed speedlines for some Mos that must be the thick end of 11kg each!!

didn't realise there was that much in it. fair bit of extra weight.
in that case then i'd go for the gunmetal or even straight forward silver. loads around with black wheels now. i think the silver could be a bit more of a sleeper look. any sign of the turbo yet fella?

so are the graphics going? if they are fella i'd go down the a line spoiler route at the same time. then stick an aero style filler on instead of the usual fuel flap.
