hi roose other than moving forward the rad mounting points, there,s nothing major other than wiring and and plumbing! the most important thing would be strengthening the shell to cope with the extra power!

Looking great mate! I fitted my engine yesterday and it even has a black rocker cover like yours, funny how they're both the same. What model was your before doing the conversion? Mine is RS2000. I'm going for royal blue stripes so it looks like this.

this is fookin freaky!!! i bought the rocker cover off a guy on here as it was powder-coated and had the take-off for the breather kit!!! as for my car it,s only a 1300xl on a n-plate. again like you, i,ve already bought the cosmos blue rs 2000 decal kit!! as you can see from the start of my thread it was already a rs2 replica but i dont think bubble arched olympic blue cars look right. just my opinion tho!!

well lads it look,s like i,ve missed the boat again as my poor old mk1 cozy will again not be ready for another ford show!!! this is due to testing and racing all weekend so my little runner has to take a back seat! gutted as she,s now running as well and only needs about 4-5 hours to set up and complete, ahh well,,, better late than never!!lol!

easy spanky, missed ya on monday night mate! other than a faulty wiper motor i think she,s ready this saturday, although it is subject to him finishing two race cars for the weekend! she,s mot,d insured and going to be taxed tomorrow so i,ll give ya a buzz or jay will to confirm!!

just spoke to glynn about my car, everything is noow running as it should, but as you,d expect we have a few teething prob,s!!! rear brakes keep locking and the gearbox crunch,s in a couple of gears! we both think that the t34 and stage 3 is too laggy for this car so i,ll now be down grading to a t3 on a stg 1 chip around the 280 bhp mark and take it from there, see how things progress. everything will be sorted after the b-holiday weekend so i,ll keep ya posted afterwards.

well guys here she is!!!! well sort of anyway!!! she,s now on the floor running and i,ve managed to source a new set of billie coilovers for the front end and a fully re-con gearbox so hopefully it,ll be fully sorted and taxed for the weekend!!!! only other little jobs are the 1/4 bumpers and the stripe kit!!!

Looks awesome mate! Can't wait to see it in the flesh. I think i'm liking it without the quarter bumpers. Needs a nice sparco steering wheel or similar (i got one in the garage but i robbed it off my dad for my escort hehe!)
When will i get to see it? taking it up johns soon? or the bramingham car park doing donuts might draw a crowd!

will be fitting the 1/4 bumpers at the weekend mate and hopefully the rs2000 stripe,s as well just to complete her. and maybe 6 months tax!!! i,ve got a rs 4 spoke wheel to go on mate so hopefully all will be done for the weekend mate, but whenever suit,s me!

here,s a small update, car now has a few hundred miles on her now and i,m only waiting to get the stripes and rs front splitter fitted!!!!!

been at it again today!! full central locking kit & clifford g5 cat 1 alarm with built in turbo timer fitted and also a new s/s 2&1/4 inch system fitted today also!!!!! put her back up to odell motorsport for a service, new grp4 front struts and a set of ap,s to be fitted. next week she will be running the full 330 bhp!!! god help the toyo,s! lol!!!
