I finally got the car on the track this weekend and had a blast!

The car was very very planted and quite controllable on the power.

I was first in the paddock and was really nervous for some reason

Maybe taking a 550bhp Rwd cossie on a soaking race track had something to do with it

Fast Ford were in attendance so expect to see some pics in the mag soon.

Teh car ran faultlessly for the 2 hour session and really did impress me, anyone says that cossies arent good track cars is wrong!

 

As Scooby slayer says in his post He will become the new owner of the car over the next few weeks too.

Im sad at the sudden selling of this car Euan was looking forward to you breaking the 190 barrier this year. I think I read that the new owner is a Topspeed man so you may yet see your creation get there. All the best in what you planning to do in the future.

lol, yip it would be.... ive got my car back, its done about 1500miles on the new engine, am just waiting on them taking it back in to map it,hopefully not going to be much longer, spoke to alan today and theres a chance it could be going in at the end of the week if he can clear his feet of the other cars he's got to finish....

Well folks its the end of an era as the breaking started on the cossie tonight and it will be fully stripped by the end of the week.

ECU was first to come off along with plates and tax.
