sad to see this happening, honestly didnt think you would sell or break this car mate, know you have put a load in to getting it to that level, dont think i could bring myself to do that to mine, although if it has problems this time i probs wont have much choice :-(

Was down at garage getting engine to drop off and took some more pics.
Not much left of a cossie now
engine out and ready to go to AG motorsport for Carlo
gear box out and ready to go to col.
wheels ready for Charlie.
Kinda weird seeing it get ripped to pieces.

mate that's one amazing thread. I have a lot of respect for you even though I don't know you. Your dreamt of a cossie, u dreamt of 500bhp, and u made sure u did it.
, its sad to see the last 2 pages of this thread, but I've been reading your progress over the years and i liked how you went about modifying your car. You'll never get rid of the cosworth bug, It'll worm its way back..

know exactly how you feel mate....ive been over the same course as you know, spent more than i care to remember on the scoob and wonder if/when it will ever stop...only way to do it would be to get rid of the car, but would never make back what i would want on it.....if i could even bring myself to part with it which i doubt

Was just looking at these pics and thought Id update this with some from the track day I did with the cossie.
It was featured in fast ford for the first time too
It was a great day although it was wet for the full session making getting the power down a bit of a joke!
The car was awesome and was wheelspining at well over 100mph in 4th gear up the straights.
Good memories even if the thing cost me a fortune!
It was a beast of a car!

Got a proper WRC prodrive bucket for the driver seat and my pole postion recaro in pass side.
Its all standard looking on the outside again apart from colour.
Front bumper needs painting as it it didnt turn up in time and front end just needs lined up a bit as we were in a hurry to get it together for last track day.
Its now got power steering too.

More power from the engine at some point Stoo, along with a cage and plactic windows etc.
I wont up the power til I have nailed the lap times with what I have just now tho.
I have down two track days and have another one booked on Sun so not that experienced(on track) yet.
