well now theres been more work !! lol

had to get some brakes on the old gal so i can stand her on its nose

so went on the roof of the work shop and hope a little ose obout to find a real nice set of escort cossie breaks with a set of mint disks and pads

so they obviously had to go in my little corner of the workshop hehe !!

well here they are fitted ! a few snaps

then had to sort out the back !
so i stripped it down and everything was good really !
i took the drums and put them in the lathe and got the old man to clean them up for me ready for a lick of paint

heres how they started !

and after a nice coat of etch primer and silver paint this is how they came out

now ! after having a nice red front bumper i had to get one to match for the back !

so the hunt started ! ofcourse on ebay

picked one up and as soon as it arrived on she went

and to finish off ! i wasnt happy the way the holes in the front bumper are just covered by a plastic thing so i cut them strasight off
only something little but im much happier

thats all for now hopefully there isnt much more to do ! but updates as soon as they come

jim

Nice one J1mbo, coming along really well.

Not many people with their first car start out with an engine rebuild straight away

Bet in 10 years time when you have the funds spare and ability to insure stuff etc, that whatever you are driving is going to be MENTAL!

This is great, for a first car too. I don't think I've ever seen parts posted on this site that are actually standard....is that what standard pistons look like?

Nice little car there, but I'm still a little shocked that you've not been forced into having something scary as a first car!
