Been to see the old girl tonight and things have moved on somemore, not much but it's all quality work so i'm happy. Main thing is my new sections of metal have been fabricated and are ready to be put in and shaped to fit, i'm really looking forward to seeing what they'll look like when they're in. The N/S/R Wheel arch has been welded on as good as the O/S, the N/S sill has also been welded on. Apparently it will have been primed in a couple of weeks and will have had the Engine bay painted so that i can have it back to fit the engine before it's sprayed finally. Hope you like

I'm looking forward to seeing these fitted as they are my new rear Chassis rail sections

Very Very small update, the bodyshop have been plagued with sickness this week so my car had been put to the bottom of the list, so only a small bit of work had been carried out. Never the less, what had been done was really good. The O/S/R wheel arch although i showed pics of it having been filled, myself and the manger weren't happy with the curve so it has been stripped back down to be started again. The N/S/R wheel arch on the other hand has been filled Excellently as you can see from the pics the mangers son really knows his filler work.

Sorry about update size, Bigger update hopefully soon.

Keep up the good work!! cant wait to see what those rails look like. Does the rear number plate section look factory? Some silly cow rear ended mine the other day as it been recomended that its repaired as opposed to replaced because its so hard to get a factory finish..

Popped into the bodyshop this morning and found the car up in the air on the 2 poster, the O/S/R wheel arch has been refilled to the same excellent standard as the N/S. More importantly the bit that myself and others have been looking forward to seeing, has been started. The N/S Chassis rail has been repaired, some of you who remember earlier in the thread i said i'd have the chassis rails replaced, a member on here (Ste GT) told me that repairing them properly would be enough. After searching numerous possibilities including new panels and cutting up donor cars, we went for the repair option which i'm totally pleased about because they have been done really well IMO. I think the chassis rails are now Armour plated!

Hope you guys like

Thanks all, None of you chaps need to worry im not gonna spend all this time, money and effort to not Correctly treat the metal so fear not. Yes it will all be smoothed off as i popped in when they were mid work but i couldn't resist taking some nice shots of it.

3dr Rally slag - I couldn't of asked for a better bunch of blokes doing the work, they really are doing a top job.

Cheers all

Been away for a while as i've been to Ibiza, if it weren't for my car i could quite easily of stayed! LOL.

Anyway been to the bodyshop this morning and both Chassis rails are now complete and loads of little holes have been patched up, the floor under the rear footwell N/S has been repaired due to being rotten at the join (Surprise surprise). The rear end has been primed underneath so it's ready to be undersealed.

Cheers for the support guys hope you enjoy.
