Hello Mike, for starting I love what've done on your car, pretty good job.
I've got some questions to you, what caind of leads are U using on your T25 engine, I have on mine T35 but with four holes on my cam cover & I wanted to ide them to fit your carbon cover.
Do you have in your shop WRC breather as your car haves.
And can you machining head cover for coil pack conversion.
Keep the best your car is fantastic.
Sorry for my english i'm a bit rusty.

I do have a breather
You don't need to do any machining to run a coil pack, as you can leave the phase sensor in the distributor and it will work fine. However, if you want to relocate the phase sensor as I have, it costs quite a bit to do, but I can sort it for you .

PassionFord Post Whore!!
iTrader: (1)
Just sat and read through this; had wondered what happened to this. It's one car I've always wanted to go out in, but never had an opportunity sadly.
Looking forward to seeing how it looks in 'track spec'. Is the rear wing staying unpainted?
I like alcantara touches too. Are the seats staying as they are, or is alcantara being added there too?
Very nice though, so much thought gone into this car, some really nice details

Hello Mike,
I have a Escort Cosworth with roller barrel and Pectel T6. The engine is from Mountune, but they will not give me the password and dongle so I can do a remap. Is there possible to do this without help from Mountune ?

Doors fully built up and all new rubbers fitted .
Forget chrome bonnet stays - oak is where its at . Lights all back in and working .
Wiring now all done. This little photo is designed to explain the detail touches . Basically the WRC bumper doesn't have provision for indicators, so having the Morrettes has enabled me to move the sidelights to the outer headlights and the indicators have been moved to the OE sidelight position, using orange LEDs and resistors to get the flash speed correct. Now when I swap bumpers over, I don't have to worry about this aspect .
Boot coming along . And yes, I know it needs hoovering, but that's a job for Neil when he comes over to give the car a full valet .

Glass in:
All bumper iron work re-powder-coated ready for concourse .
Orange is the new clear - but fuck me - Ł25 EACH!!? - Grrrrr, bloody Ford!
Flush fit aero catches underneath as well as on top, see below for how this was achieved .
This was achieved with a laser cut plate that was bonded into place inside the two skins, which has been drilled and tapped to suit the aero-catch. No fiddly nuts from underneath (requiring cutting the bonnet to suit) and also gives an even clamping force so that the bonnet is not stressed . Obviously this will also work on the OE bonnet as well to achieve the same results .

Watch it!!! My "old dead horse" did a complete season of competition sprints last year AND produced well over 600bhp last week after the latest "fettle".
Stop going to Halfords to buy new bodykits and get driving!

Last night didn't see to fit a lot on the car, as it was spent replacing the brake fluid and bleeding the brakes. Another door card on:
Once the brakes were bled, this then meant that the car could go back on the ground . Having had it off the ground all this while, it now feels too low to work on, and I keep standing on the splitter .
I then filled the engine with the special race coolant and connected the ECU and then after spinning the engine over for a few minutes to bring up the oil pressure, she fired up straight away - I almost got a stiffy .
Just need to put a seat in, and then it's driveable again. Back to the painters to fit the rear spoilers, mop and good going over with a fine tooth comb, and then it is off to Harvey's for MOT etc and job's a good'n!
