been a few weeks sice the last update. progress was a bit slow due to the shit weather.
Finally got the dash and clocks etc all fitted and working.
Then it was down to Pompey to get Russ to weld in the seat bars.
Turned up to find a bufty twat with his car on the ramp
John..aka..lamb Chops was getting a few bits done.
Here is John, with Ian (Bromley) and Dan (cossiedrift)
My turn next to get the bars done.
No going back now!!
Here is the car now, bars painted up and the carpet fitted around them with the eye bolts ready for the harness's.
made up some meteal plates to secure the carpet in place and fill the original seat bolt holes.
Will have the seats fitted by the weekend then back to see Russ and dan for the Brake fitting.

Car looks fantastic Leigh, it's come a long way since Combe last year when I popped over after John's car!
One thing though mate, I think where your eye bolts are is going to be FAR to steeper angle to fit the harness' too!? It can't be anything under 45deg can it? Sure someone can confirm.
Keep up the good work!

harness's are ok mate, agree, they should ideally be a bit further back but they go straight into the rear belts and also the seat belt holder. Saves welding the eye bolts onto the car.
Seats are now in and the brakes are getting fitted tomorrwo.

Luke assisted by sitting in the car for a while as we bled the system and done a few re-adjustments...
Pretty much finished for now and ready to book some track days All i need is a Mongoose Centre Box to get the dB's down, so if anyone wants to swap a straight through centre pipe then givr me a shout
Thanks for all the positive comments

managed to do a deal with a local seller on his exhaust that was on e-bay.
Picked it up today. Scorpion full system with centre box in very good nic for Ł100
Once I get the bung welded in for the lambda probe I will have the Mongoose up for sale.
