Ill pm you if i need any advice on the conversion, It's on a ever growing list of jobs to sort now. Can't wait to make a start on it.

I've got alot going on atm so will just cross my fingers it gets done for next years show season.

Just started back at college on a apprenticeship through work, btec in mechanical engineering! Just doing it for 2 years to get skilled money.
It's only a thursday afternoon, its hard work getting the brain working again at 30 years old.
Getting married in May 2013.
I feel the box change will go to the side for now, but it's all sat there if I do get 5mins.
And last week was told my 28 year old brother has cancer.

No car updates, but thought I'd chuck a pic up of my Fastford photoshoot pic my sister had blown up at asda last year for Xmas, finally redecorated the hall and found somewhere to place it.

Might get some more done at some stage.

Gotta crack on with the Orion soon, it'll soon be 2013 show season again.
Still got that manifold to fit. Mapping. Brembos to make fit or sell.
List just gets bigger

lol

I've been sorting the garage out, sick of the condensation on the tin roof. So I've splashed out on some insulation board for the roof. Finally finished that on sunday, its about there now, a few little odds and sods to do. A few more lights are needed I think, new side door and double glazed window is next.
Anyway its much warmer in there now, and upto now seems to have sorted the condensation issues.
Now I can work on a dry car in a warmer garage.

Right alittle update...

I've noticed over winter the blistering/ popping on the bootlid is getting alittle worse. ( Moisture in the paint )
It's been painted twice so far. Me wanting the car perfect again for the shows this year ( plus being used as my transport to my wedding in May ) I've finally bitten the bullet and decided to remove it for another attempt!!!

The worse bit about painting the bootlid is removing the spoiler... removing them blo*dy caps in the Saff spoiler without damaging them, the spoiler or the paint.

So thought I'd add a how 2 here with zero paint damage done.

At work on and off i'm doing the odd bit of panel beat training. So, take one slide hammer...

Size: 354.2 KB

Next take a medium sized red mushroom ( dunno what there technically called, but thats what we know them by at work. )
Using a hot glue gun stick mushroom to a spoiler cap like so...

Name: C5D7A152-E8F4-45AB-8655-2E12A1CFA509-14677-00002193F45F04B2_zps27b21c87.jpg

You'll see here slide hammer is adapted to slot onto the end of the mushroom.

Slot it onto mushroom and pull... hopefully it should pop out like so...

To remove mushroom and glue from spoiler cap spray with this stuff...

Repeated on other side.

Much easier than digging them out with a screw driver...

Dunno if you can make out the popping from the phone pics???

Nope, wheels ain't gonna clear them without spacers. And ain't got arch clearance to space them...
Wanna buy them?

Back up Christies this month for check up...

Pulled my finger out this evening, after speaking to a mate tonight...
I've come home and pulled the tax out of the cupboard that's been in there for 5-6 weeks...
Decided to unlock the Orion and stick the new tax in the window...
It's a start...

Pulled it out of the garage the other day for a full mopping session, sorry no pics...
Tax is now in the window and once again the paintwork is back upto standard...

This evening I've decided to start wrapping the new manifold I've had sitting here for months...
Need to order some more exhaust wrap to finish it...
