Very nice car mate, very high standard you going to clock the compressor housing and put the hot boost pipe downstairs? will be a very drivable quick car with that engine and turbo combo

Your Orion and Twins both Escorts are best cars ive ever seen :P
I already had nice mk4 (has 1,8 zetec now), and now i needed to buy an orion too So now i do also have an Orion 1,4 CVH '89, mileage about 77 000 miles 
And it screams zetec under the bonnet...

The car is now in the hands of my engine builder/ mapper
The comp housing has been modded. . . will try get some pics off him
I 100% trust him with it. . .
I'm hoping it'll be quick ( for now )
it'll be even quicker next year with a bigger turbo etc

Its a runner now. . . Fired up last week. . . I pick it up this wed on the trailer. Ive got a few jobs to do on it before it can be mot'ed and mapped. . . So towards the end of the week should be alot of pics to bring the thread up to date. Oh, turbo needs rebuilding as its buggered. . . Its fine when its cold, soon as the engine temps warm up it smokes. So this has gotta get sorted asap to run the engine in.

He's also raised it up while its been there cause he couldn't get his jacks under it 8O So it'll be dropped on its aRS* again once back at home :mrgreen: Just doesn't look right at all up there

Been spending at RS National day, bought a few goodies for the Orion 8)
Brand new heater controls for £25 quid :mrgreen:
All fitted
Cleaned up a new purchase with a baby wipe
Grey 3 buttoned clock fitted after a quick clean
New Dealership plates have arrived waiting to be fitted along with a dealership tax disc holder. . . Big thanks to Chris Latham. . . 3/4 front dealership plate will be going on the front when it arrives, the full size one will be just incase :mrgreen:

More pics taken tonight. . .
Finally mounted the fuel filter up to the underside of the car. . .
Also changed a few hoses for black hoses and blanked off or re-done a few of the breather pipes to the back of in inlet. . .
Also note the re-condition turbo is now back on ( decided for now to stick with a standard Focus RS turbo for now, should still do big bhp with some 20+ PSi of boost )
Im just gonna get it running and over winter and spring collect parts to improve the spec for next years show season, which will include a new GT28, different exhaust manifold, 3 inch downpipe and exhaust system, and possibly some bigger injectors

It will still go like stink with the FRS turbo mate! and be very drivable too, i think the gearbox will be the only weak point in the build looking good though
