Its still a bc/ib5 type box mate, depends on how you drive and how many miles you do, uprated or not they are still not that strong, but if it becomes a problem then you can maybe look into an mtx75 in the future.Edit; the clutch will be an issue too, as its only 220mm, with an mtx you can use the 2 litre flywheel and run a 240mm clutch, not wanting to put you down mate, cos your work has been amazing soo far though!

Another little job tonight, fitted the new front number plate, I know its not a big job but with no old plate its taken time to measure and get it spot on . . . :mrgreen: Still waiting for the 3/4 size front plate to come in the post. . . but this one will do for now 8)

Nothing has been done on the car yet, still waiting for a replacement turbo oil feed banjo bolt to arrive from Ford. . . its been on back order for a week now 
Its stopping everything. . . have come across another cheaper replacement

I've still got the one coming from Ford on back order for now til I know this cheaper bolt will fit. . . fingers cross as the Ford bolt is costing me Ł51 quid
Also ordered a new fan switch, temp gauge switch, thermostate and new thermostate housing bolts 8)
Tonight I've quickly bleed the clutch back up. . .

I wouldnt be paying no 50 quid for a banjo bolt! Cant see anything wrong with the one for Ł1.15 mate 
its only 100 psi of oil in there at the most. Looking very nice though

Done a couple of miles in the orion today with use of some trade plates. . . Drives really nice. . . Steering wheel's on the p.ss lol. No knocks or bangs. So first impressions are good. Cleaned it up before its run and it looked bloody awesome on the road. Its gone to a mates for a few soldering jobs plus a play about with the ice. . . 8) its nearly there finally

Love it mate! The only thing that I would do to finish the car off, is get the rear number plate surround sprayed gloss black or get a smoked plastic one made up if possible. Not only would it look awesome (imo!) but it would compliment the Saph spoiler and some people may clock on that it's a hint towards late-spec Saph rear ends.

Pictures of the underside of the Orion taken while it was on the ramps for MOT'ing 8)
Its not concours clean on the underside, just clean :mrgreen:
Also fitted my 3/4 size front plate after the MOT. . . Cheers to Chris 'Bufty' Latham. . . looks mint 8)
Will have to adjust the coilovers soon, its sat too high for my liking
Put the alarm led down near the gauges, though it would be better than drilling a hole in the dash, and its out the way there too 8) Think it looks good down there 8)
Fresh MOT cert 8) well earned imo

Not really, I aint getting underneath to polish. . . might get a wash every now and then but f**k polishing nuts and bolts on the underside
I got some spray on stone chip that will do the trick on the Saff

Lads you have to see this in the flesh to realise what a good job Chris has done on it.
Looks higher in the pictures than it did in the flesh mate, I would only drop the rear another 10mm and the front by 15mm at most if it was me. I have a feeling you might drop it Inches rather than MM though lol.

Its now has a 31- actuator fitted to the turbo along with a custom bracket made up in my shed by Andy. Looks really good and is perfect for the job
