Yup, think so. I only seem to insure it every other year, the rest of the time it sits in the garage gathering dust and scratches whenever I walk past it. I could do with the cash more than the car atm especially as nipper #2 is due in 23 days.

Unlucky Rad.
You've had no luck with this one. Your plans sound good for this one what are you gonna do with the box and diffs as your putting a fair bit of power through them on the new spec??

Cheers Ben.
Smithy, I have a spare box that will be rebuilt. Standard gearset, steel selector forks and casing modded. Should be fine so long as I don't launch it, Which I don't.
Rear diff should be fine also, with regular oil changes, Not heard of many break if any.
One thing I do want though is a better front diff.
In the long run, Once I've cleared some debt etc, I may go for a Quaife or a PPG gearset.

The only time I plan on launching it is at the Pod
Edit: I have a few times, But I don't make it something I do often.
Raced a 380bhp pulsar off the lights and done him, then he killed me, Then he done me at the 2nd set of lights. Done a scooby to, and I was 4 up LOL

Yes the pulsar seens to have more problems/niggles than most of the import cars, hope you have deep pockets , there is plenty to go wrong , handbrake cables , abs sensors , wheel bearings , gearbox/clutches the list is long , good luck

You probably can, anything is possible with money.
I was looking under an Evo 6 the other day at the box/diff etc, I reckon it could go, But it means changing the rear diff + 4 drive shafts, which would be custom.
PPG Pulsar box (straight cut), plus the bracing and bits and bobs to make the casing stronger, Your looking at 5k..
If I could get an Evo box/diffs fitted for that then I would. Cars on hold at the mo anyway, I'm not working
